Due to the impacts of colonialism, Indigenous women, girls, and 2SLGBTQ+ individuals are especially vulnerable to being targeted for recruitment by traffickers.
There are specialized initiatives designed by and for Indigenous survivors of human trafficking, including:
- Speak Out: Stop Sex Trafficking – A resource specifically designed by and for Indigenous individuals to combat sex trafficking.
